Lalit Wadhwa is vice president of Advanced Analytics at Avnet. Based in Phoenix, his team is responsible for continually improving customer experience, revenue & margin opportunities by embedding pervasive analytics into business processes. His responsibilities also include implementing Big Data infrastructure, building vendor partnerships, and delivering promised benefits. Mr. Wadhwa is a 28-year Avnet veteran with more than two decades of global supply chain operations, procurement, materials management and hardware product design experience. He is a trained and certified SCOR-Professional – having undergone the educational practicum offered by the Supply Chain Operations Reference model (SCOR), the world’s leading supply chain framework. Mr. Wadhwa is passionate about leveraging the R, Python and Octave languages for advanced analytics, visualization and machine learning in large datasets. Mr. Wadhwa holds a bachelor of Engineering, Electronics and Communications from Delhi University in India.
