Crystal Marie (she/her) manages the Loyalty & Growth Strategy group in Marketing at Duke Energy. As a marketer and a writer, she is keenly committed to storytelling that centers those often left in the margins – underrepresented racial/ethnic/religious groups, the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, and people across socioeconomic groups.
Crystal Marie has managed inclusive marketing strategy and execution for brands such as Nestle, Comcast, and Diageo. Her writing has been published in national and local outlets on a variety of uncomfortable but important topics such as race, faith and relationships.
Crystal Marie was educated at Howard University and followed up with a master’s in communication management at the University of Southern California. She loves podcasts, Thai food, and spending time with her partner and their two children.
