Katherine Cotsonas

Katherine Cotsonas is the founder and CEO of k + co, a public relations and strategic communications firm focused on helping brands, people, and organizations find a voice. After graduating from American University with a degree in International Relations and Broadcast Journalism, Katherine spent a few years in broadcast news + management consulting. She’s been thriving as a startup/small business thrill seeker for ten years now. Katherine started k + co. in late 2019. She’s best described as a professional hype girl and media wrangler with a knack for the e-intro. She’s worked with clients in hospitality, beauty, health + wellness, politics, and luxury services, and she’s most proud of helping clients navigate murky and challenging pandemic waters. She’s placed clients in publications like Washington Post, Vogue, Essence, Eater, Washingtonian, Shape, WTOP, Medium, and on local affiliates for NBC, CBS, and FOX. She is a member of PRSA and Washington Women in PR.
