Thea Neal

Thea Neal is a lot. (Or, so she’s been told.) Raised by teen parents in rural Michigan, Thea grew up with the hopes and dreams of becoming a fashion magazine editor in New York City. It only took one internship for her to decimate that dream.

Today, Thea leads Coinbase’s talent brand globally. Her career has spanned journalism, to social media, to public relations, to being an on-air talent. She’s worked at agencies like Ignite Social Media and FleishmanHillard, and she’s been a corporate gal at places like Hallmark and Royal Caribbean Group. She’s moved more times than she can count.

Because Neal’s Virgo moon has convinced her she can fit more into her day, she is also CMO of the vertical garden start-up, Sagano Garden. When she’s not in meetings, you can still catch her reflecting her Mid-Michigan roots by digging in some dirt.

She lives with her husband and their two rescue dogs. Neal is a proud alumna of Michigan State University and Duke University.
