Joel Leeman

Thrilled to be returning to the Digital Summit stage, Joel Leeman is a seasoned content strategist and producer, heading up a podcast studio (Shrug Content) and co-founding a new international content agency focused on the financial industry (Vivace Content). He is the host of Connection Request, a podcast about career journeys. 

Prior to his adventures in entrepreneurship, Joel spent a decade in global content leadership roles with brands including the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), FTSE Russell, Refinitiv, and Thomson Reuters. 

Joel loves spending his time on career mentorship and also works with several nonprofits including the Hennepin Theatre Trust’s board of directors. With deep roots in the music world, Joel is also a freelance musician, playing with a jazz band in Minneapolis and occasionally sitting in as a studio musician on friends’ recording projects.
