Peter Prodromou is founder of The Forerunner Group, a growth consultancy that helps organizations seeking to increase market share to better understand the dynamics of their customers, prospects and markets. He regularly advises C-level executive on how to access new markets and shape their offers through the lenses of public opinion and digital media in an era of rapidly changing marketing and communications ecosystems. A longtime student of how people access information and engage on the web, Peter has created breakthrough methodologies and technologies for reaching key constituent groups more effectively and cost-efficiently.Prior to forming The Forerunner Group, Peter was CEO of Boston Digital, a Boston-based digital marketing firm. Before that, he helped to found Racepoint Global, a leading digital PR firm. He spent 16 years at Racepoint helping to grow it from three employees in a Boston office, to nearly 400 employees across four continents. He has advised CEOs, COOs, CFOs. CMOs and CCOs on how to establish and maintain competitive advantage. He has also worked with heads of government and heads of state on regional economic development and how to leverage digital media to attract investors in highly competitive climates. He has advised presidential candidates on how to effectively leverage social media in election cycles and organized an inaugural dialogue on democracy in North Africa. Peter is a sought-after speaker. He regularly addresses classes at Emerson College, Hult and Boston University. He has addressed the American Marketing Association, Silicon Dragon (on the effective use of marketing for China-based companies to access US markets), and the UK trade association, PRCA, on the implications of misinformation in media, among many. He created the Racepoint Viewpoint practice, an issues-centric offer focused on integration of corporate thought leadership and social good into marketing, communications and corporate behavior. He has been published extensively in several PR and marketing media and is currently working on a book focused on how the technology industry can help restore economic balance across the American economy.
