
Heather Schlesinger has spent close to 25 years empowering brands to succeed in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Her passion has been to consistently deliver brand storytelling and marketing campaigns with the goal to understand the targeted consumer and help shape their commitment to the brand as never before. At the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Southeast’s largest hunger relief organization, she serves as Chief Marketing Officer and oversees the marketing, communications, data analytics, public affairs, education and outreach work for the organization. She works hard every day to mobilize food, people, and big ideas so that no one is hungry in our community. Schlesinger’s previous brands include: The Krystal Company, Aaron’s, BellSouth, The Georgia Legal Services Program and World Wildlife Fund (Australia). Mrs. Schlesinger is a graduate of Boston University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and completed the Culinary Scholar Program of the School of Hospitality Administration. In her graduate studies, Mrs. Schlesinger earned her master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Brenau University, a Digital Marketing Certification from the Yale School of Management, and is on hiatus from the PhD program for Innovation and Marketing Leadership at Antioch University. Heather is a native of Atlanta and lives in Dunwoody with her husband, twins and furry children.
